Yes, the news is true. The Berkeley shop closed the last week of June 2022. Thank you for supporting us in this location for over 8 years! We have moved fully into our location in the Mission, San Francisco at 16th & Harrison so we are very happy to still exist in the physical world! Stay tuned for pop ups & events in the space, plus we will be posting weekly special open hours and will also be open by appointment.

The Empress Garden was a magical backyard space behind Empress Vintage.
Over the years, Empress Vintage has hosted workshops and community events in the store and the Empress Garden, and collaborated with local entrepreneurs, musicians & artists. We have worked hard to create a thriving community in South Berkeley/North Oakland. For the past 8 years we have had many beautiful outdoor events, from rituals to music to workshops. We hosted workshops, classes, trunk shows and performances.
We received a Proclamation honoring Empress Vintage from the City of Berkeley for our community spirit and action! Check out the video below.
