Empress Blog

Our current mood here at Empress Vintage is enchanted.  Seeing the storybook frocks and capes in high fashion houses such as Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana makes us swoon, because this is the world we regularly inhabit.  The Empress is the Goddess of Love, Venus, Aphrodite.  Her inclinations in fashion lean toward silks, satins, velvet, lace, cool cottons and nature based prints.  Gowns, caftans and 1970s maxis are her daily dress.  Let us own our power to create our stories in our world, to honor and revere nature, as we move into the Fall 2014 season.
